1
Choose the best source
Find the original photo instead of a screenshot, forwarded copy, or heavily compressed download. Make a duplicate so you can compare results without losing the starting point. Note whether the problem is slight softness, motion blur, missed focus, or simply a small image enlarged too far.
2
Try a clarity workflow
Open the linked web destination through the action above and inspect its available editing and access options before proceeding. If an appropriate image workflow is available, provide the photo and ask for restrained sharpening. Keep faces, writing, and repeated patterns under close review: convincing-looking additions are not necessarily faithful details.
3
Inspect and keep the better version
Compare the edited image with the original at the same zoom level. Look for bright outlines around edges, waxy skin, distorted letters, and speckled shadows. If these artifacts outweigh the improvement, reduce the effect, try a modest device-based sharpening adjustment, or retain the original. Check any export conditions before committing to a result.
